Adam’s most recent collaboration is with Motor City director Potsy Poncirolli on Paramount’s contemporary western The Rescue, starring Brandon Sklenar. His previous filmography includes the upcoming Green Day inspired punk rock road trip Nimrods with director Lee Kirk, several projects with director Michael Mohan and actor/EP Sydney Sweeney including Immaculate (Black Bear) and The Voyeurs (Amazon), and the fifth installment of the Insidious franchise (Blumhouse/Sony) with actor/director Patrick Wilson.
Adam earned his degree in architecture at Penn State University where he also focused on sculpture and art history. His early interest in “narrative architecture” would later inform the story telling role of production design in his work. While spending his college summers working in cabinet shops and on construction sites he began to develop the craft sensibilities that are the foundation of his process.
Across 25 years in architecture, experiential design, and media, he's learned how structure, materiality, and color set tone and serve narrative — building sets in New York's fashion photography industry, practicing design-build architecture in the Pacific Northwest, then moving into episodic TV as set designer and art director.
He combines strong concept design and a thorough knowledge of craft with the ability to lead large crews from development through execution — always in service of his collaborators' vision. Member, Art Directors Guild (IATSE 800); represented by Innovative Artists.
